THON™ is thrilled to announce its first Matching Day of 2026!
As part of the Ignite the Fight campaign, Matching Day is a powerful opportunity for THON volunteers to maximize their impact in the fight against childhood cancer.
What is Matching Day?
Matching Day is a one-day-only fundraising event where selected donations are matched, doubling the fundraising impact. This initiative is designed to amplify fundraising efforts and spark early momentum for THON 2026.
Whether you’re a student, alumni, or supporter, Matching Day is the perfect opportunity for volunteers to make an impact and increase the value of each donation made.
When Does it Happen?
Beginning at 8:00 AM EST on July 10th, every third donation will be matched up to $100 while funds last. Additionally, beginning at 6:00 PM EST, every other student donation will be matched up to $10 while funds last.

To ensure that THON is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we heavily rely on donor support. These donations provide us the resources to create endless memories for our Four Diamonds families & foster a deep love & connection to our mission for our volunteers through Pre-THON Events, alternative fundraisers, & THON Weekend.
