My name is Kara Peace, and I am a senior majoring in Finance with minors in International Business and Organizational Leadership. During my first three years at Penn State, I have served as a committee member on Rules & Regulations, a THON Chair for Alpha Kappa Psi, and a THON 2026 dancer. Now, I am so excited to be serving as a Captain on the Donor and Alumni Relations team! I am so excited to connect with everyone throughout the year as we work together to spread the mission of THON, support our families, and continue the fight against childhood cancer.
My name is Andrew Falcigno, and I am a junior majoring in Nursing! Last year, I had the opportunity to serve on the Donor and Alumni Relations Committee, and I am so grateful to have been selected as a captain for the same committee for THON 2027! I am so excited to continue being a part of the THON community and to play a role in furthering THON’s mission and impact. Thanks to generous members of the Giving Society, THON 2026 was able to provide the equivalent of the following to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s hospital:
Donations take 5-10 business days to be processed by Penn State’s Donor and Member Services Office. They will reach out to you within this time period with a receipt that can be used for tax purposes.
Giving Society Members will receive confirmation approximately 2-4 weeks after the donation is made to be eligible for THON weekend benefits. We must receive a donation by February 1.

THON™ is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital because of supporters like you. Your generosity creates moments of joy for Four Diamonds children and families and empowers our volunteers through year-round events, fundraisers and THON Weekend.
