THON™ is a student-powered philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of Four Diamonds children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and fund life-saving research in pursuit of a cure For The Kids ®.
- THON provides emotional and financial support for comprehensive care that eases the financial burden of childhood cancer and allows children and families to focus on treatment. Through services like child life, social work, music and art therapy, and transportation costs for treatment, kids can focus on being kids.
- THON spreads awareness and raises funds year-round with more than 16,500 student volunteers and events like the THON 5K and Dream Forward campaign, culminating in our 46-hour no-sleeping no-sitting dance marathon. Through our events and campaigns, we amplify the stories of our Four Diamonds children to inspire people around the world to join in the fight.
- THON funds life-saving research for childhood cancer at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital and Penn State College of Medicine to advance new treatments and improve outcomes for children everywhere. Every dollar raised helps move us closer to the day we dance in celebration of a cure.
THON™ is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital because of supporters like you. Your generosity creates moments of joy for Four Diamonds children and families and empowers our volunteers through year-round events, fundraisers and THON Weekend.
