Every year, over 16,500 student volunteers at Penn State University coordinate and execute THON™ Weekend, a 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon where thousands of students, volunteers, and families come together to take a stand against childhood cancer. The event is the culmination of students’ and supporters’ year-long effort to raise millions of dollars to support over 4,800 families impacted by childhood cancer. THON 2026 raised $18.8 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital, totaling over $272 million raised since 1977.
THON is elated to announce that THON Weekend 2027 will be taking place from February 19-21 in the Bryce Jordan Center!

THON™ is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital because of supporters like you. Your generosity creates moments of joy for Four Diamonds children and families and empowers our volunteers through year-round events, fundraisers and THON Weekend.
