My Cause, My Cleats – THON™ 2026

By Liviah Yudt 2 minutes read

The National Football League (NFL) kicked off their 10th annual “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign this season, an initiative where players customize their cleats to showcase a non-profit or charity organization of their choice. Players have the opportunity to represent a philanthropy or charity close to them and have the chance to auction off their cleats for that cause.

This year, THON™ had its largest involvement in this national campaign! Ten players across the league, eight being former Nittany Lions, showed their support For The Kids®, representing THON and Four Diamonds on their custom cleats. These players include:

  • Jahan Doston (Philadelphia Eagles)
  • Tanner McKee (Philadelphia Eagles)
  • Ty Robinson (Philadelphia Eagles)
  • Olu Fashanu (New York Jets)
  • DaQuan Jones (Buffalo Bills)
  • Yetur Gross-Matos (San Francisco 49ers)
  • Chris Stoll (Seattle Seahawks)
  • Jordan Stout (Baltimore Ravens)
  • Mitchell Tinsley (Cincinnati Bengals)
  • Tyler Warren (Indianapolis Colts)

THON’s mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and ensure funding for critical research – all in pursuit of a cure. All ten of these NFL players uphold this mission with every step they take on the field. The recognition, awareness, and fundraising efforts their partnership brings to THON and Four Diamonds is immeasurable in the fight against childhood cancer.

The THON community is beyond grateful for the support from the players and the league. Several teams highlighted THON and the cleats on their social media platforms. The NFL wrapped up the campaign with an Instagram post on THON, picturing the eight cleats worn by Penn State alumni (@nfl). Volunteers and supporters are very appreciative of the traction this campaign brought to the cause, allowing THON’s mission to be spread on a national level.

Here is a look at all ten pairs of cleats:
