Every dollar of a gift card donated from the accepted stores listed below can be 100% credited to the THON Organization, IDC, or Committee of your choice!
Welcome to the Gift Card Initiative (GCI)! The Gift Card Initiative is an effort by Supply Logistics, Hospitality, and other THON Volunteers to solicit and receive gift card donations. These gift cards are used to purchase items that we are unable to get donated. GCI plays a vital role in lowering THON’s internal costs, helping ensure 96 cents of every dollar is donated For The Kids® .

Any THON supporter may donate gift cards! Accepted gift cards (listed below) may be turned into the THON Office or mailed to 227D HUB, University Park, PA 16802. If you would like to credit an Org/Committee/IDC please include the name.

Making Every Dollar Count
GCI plays a vital role in lowering THON’s internal costs. The items purchased with gift cards benefit many aspects of pre-THON and THON Weekend events!
Here are a few examples of how donated gift cards help THON:
Giant, Wegmans, and Weis gift cards are used to purchase dancer, Captain, and family meals THON weekend. Helping to empower and fuel the THON community!
A seemingly small Staples, Target, or Walmart gift card can be turned into a message seen by hundreds of thousands. Last year, gift cards were used to purchase foam boards used during THON Athletic events.
We are always in need of arts and craft supplies used to engage and support our families. Using gift cards to purchase these crucial items allows more of every dollar to be donated to directly impact our Four Diamonds Families.
To ensure that THON is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we heavily rely on donor support. These donations provide us the resources to create endless memories for our Four Diamonds families & foster a deep love & connection to our mission for our volunteers through Pre-THON Events, alternative fundraisers, & THON Weekend.
