Meet Avery and Kamin

The Giving Society Captains for THON™ 2026

My name is Avery Needham, and I am a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Spanish and Engineering Leadership Development! I am so lucky to have found a home at Penn State through THON and could not be more excited for THON 2026. During my first two years, I was a Donor and Alumni Relations Committee member, and now I am honored to serve as a Development Captain for Donor and Alumni Relations! I am eager to further my involvement and impact in the amazing THON community. I cannot wait to see the amazing impact we will make together this year, For The Kids®!

My name is Kamin Naley, and I am a sophomore majoring in Supply Chain and Information Systems, with a minor in International Business! I was lucky enough to be welcomed into the THON community last year (THON 2025) as an OPPerations committee member, and I am so excited to continue my involvement in THON 2026 as an Individual Donor Stewardship Captain on the Donor and Alumni Relations committee. I am beyond grateful to be able to help further THON’s mission and impact this year, and I can’t wait to see all that we can accomplish in 2026! FTK®!!

Ready to Make a Difference?

To ensure that THON is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we heavily rely on donor support. These donations provide us the resources to create endless memories for our Four Diamonds families & foster a deep love & connection to our mission for our volunteers through Pre-THON Events, alternative fundraisers, & THON Weekend.
