Connecting Four Diamonds Children & Families Through THON

At THON, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from connecting Four Diamonds children and families. Our programs—Families Helping Families, Captain-in-Training, TEENetwork, The Warm Welcome Program, and the Pen Pal Program—are designed to build meaningful relationships between veteran families and new members. By offering mentorship, engagement opportunities, and personalized connections, we aim to create an inclusive environment where every Four Diamonds child and their family can experience the love, magic, and unity that THON embodies. Families Helping Families

The Families Helping Families Program builds connections between first‑ and second‑year Four Diamonds families and veteran families. Experienced families mentor those new to the THON community, helping them form supportive, lasting relationships.

Captain-in-Training

The Captain‑in‑Training Program pairs Four Diamonds children and their families with THON captains for a behind‑the‑scenes look at leadership during Family Carnival and THON Weekend. Kids and teens spend time with volunteers from various committees, play games, and experience the excitement of THON up…

TEENetwork

The THON Engagement & Empowerment Network is a year‑long program designed for Four Diamonds families with teens ages 13–19. TEENetwork offers events and initiatives that enrich their THON experience, build community, and encourage leadership.

The Warm Welcome Program

The Warm Welcome Program strengthens connections between new Four Diamonds families and THON committees. Committees receive each family’s name and interests and send a personalized welcome, showing families how valued they are within the THON community.

The Pen Pal Program

The Penn Pal Program pairs Four Diamonds children and their siblings with THON Committees! Children will have the opportunity to receive letters, emails, and phone calls from their committee, as well as have the opportunity to interact with their paired committee at various THON related events!
