  • Why did you want to be a Director?: THON has been a part of my life for over 12 years now. I was introduced to it and really began participating through my high school’s Mini-THON and I soon came to know that Penn State was the school for me, with THON being right up there at the front of my reasons to come here. Arriving at Penn State, I fell in love with THON all over again. Being a part of the THON Community at Penn State made me realize how much this Community not only means to me but to the thousands of families we help. In addition, the dedication that each and every single student volunteer has for our families and this organization continues to inspire me to want to give even more back to this organization. I wanted to become a director so I can continue giving my all and to help provide opportunities for others to give back to this organization and to help share our mission to as many people as possible. I will continue to support this organization and our mission through the day when we dance in celebration of a cure.
  • What responsibilities do you have as the Director for THON 2025?:
As the Fundraising Safety Director I am responsible for making sure that THON’s practices and fundraising polices are practiced safely and with integrity. This is through the administration of the THON Rulebook as well as by leading the Rules and Regulations Fundraising Safety Committee. In addition, I work closely alongside the Online Giving team to ensure the proper maintenance and utilization of THON’s sole online giving platform DonorDrive. I also work closely with other Directors and Committees across the THON Community to ensure we are able to promote our organization to the best of our ability.
During several major events including THON Weekend, the Fundraising Safety Committee will work closely with the Event Safety Committee to ensure our families, volunteers, and other members of the THON Community are safe.
  • What is your favorite THON memory?: There are so many to count but one of my favorite THON memories has Total Reveal from THON Weekend 2023. This was during my first year of being a THON Captain and being able to embrace, celebrate, and be by the stage right after the numbers went up and celebrate with my co-captains will be something I will never forget.
  • Favorite Quote: “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King
  • What are you involved in outside of THON?: Penn State Snowboard Club and Penn State Campus Recreation as a Competitive Sports Supervisor
  • What are your plans for after you graduate from Penn State?: I will attend graduate school and further my education in the field of Psychology.

To ensure that THON is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we heavily rely on donor support. These donations provide us the resources to create endless memories for our Four Diamonds families & foster a deep love & connection to our mission for our volunteers through Pre-THON Events, alternative fundraisers, & THON Weekend.
