• Why did you want to become a director for the largest student-run philanthropy in the world? THON’s mission & message allows us to foster an environment where kids can love, and families can hope. THON is unique and many ways, and creating and maintaining the community is something so special. I wanted to become a director to continue fostering this love to others have done to me while continuing to give back to a community of people who are effected in each way by cancer.

• What are your main responsibilities as a Director for THON™ 2027? I am responsible for 23 captains who work diligently on different tasks regarding our finances as a philanthropy, such as helping donors with any questions regarding their fundraising. The Finance Committee supports the THON community in its fundraising efforts by securely processing all monetary donations to uphold the integrity of THON. In addition to tracking all organization totals, Finance also finalizes the THON Weekend total, the monetary representation of the THON Community’s year-long fundraising efforts.

• What is your favorite THON memory? I would say standing the lower bowl during Final Four my first year as a captain. After a not stop weekend, listening to family speakers really brought back into perspective the work that we do is making such a large impact. Taking these hours in were so special and inexplicably rewarding to end the year that was just had.

• What are you involved in outside of being a THON™ Director? Interning Summer 2026 at an Amazon warehouse, managing a production enhancement project that will continue post-internship.

• What are your plans after graduation from Penn State? I plan to work in a healthcare in some form and get my Masters in Business Administration!
