• Why did you want to become a director for the largest student-run philanthropy in the world? Giving back to a community and an organization that creates meaningful experiences for so many people is what inspired me to become a Director for THON 2027. Throughout my time in THON, I have seen the impact that this organization has on families, dancers, volunteers, and all of our supporters. THON provides experiences with the relationships that are built and the memories that are created.

  As I continued to grow through my years volunteering, I wanted the opportunity to make an even greater impact on the community that has given so much to me. I am inspired each day by our families and how our community comes together all For The Kids. Serving as a THON Director allows me to continue supporting our families, help create meaningful experiences, and advance our mission.

• What are your main responsibilities as a Director for THON™ 2027?  As the Event Safety Director for THON 2027, I am responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of all safety operations for every Pre-THON Event and THON Weekend. I work closely with professional contacts and student volunteers to help create and provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone in the community. I oversee the Pass System, Entrance Plan, Dancer Exit Strategy, and all emergency response preparation. My goal is to ensure that our families, dancers, volunteers, and guests can focus on creating magical memories at all of our events.

• What is your favorite THON memory? It is always so difficult choosing a favorite THON memory because there are so many unforgettable experience that THON provides. One of my most notable memories was during Final Four of THON 2025, which was my first year serving as a Captain. As the Celebration of Life video played, my co-captains and I stood with our arms around each other, reflecting on the families who inspire us to do everything we do. In that moment and after a long weekend, we were reminded of the true impact of THON and the reason behind every hour of planning and every role we take on as volunteers.

• What is your favorite quote? “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something”

• What are you involved in outside of being a THON™ Director? Outside of THON, I am a member of Lion Ambassadors and I also work as a Software Engineer Intern at Minitab! In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, my dog, and watching movies

• What are your plans after graduation from Penn State? I am seeking opportunities to become a Software Engineer, or Technology Consultant.
