  • Why did you want to become a director for the largest student-run philanthropy in the world?  I Serving on the Executive Committee is the opportunity to continue creating a sense of belonging for new and returning volunteers, while sharing the light our families provide to this organization and keeping them at the forefront of everything we do. THON has become a part of who I am. I wanted to play a role in continuing THON’s transformation in ways we have yet to imagine. I am inspired by the possibility of one day seeing a cure and making every step along the way with purpose and unity. I THON for every child, family and for the promises of tomorrow.

  • What are your main responsibilities as a Director for THON™ 2027? As the Special Events Director, I oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of all pre-THON events, such as the THON 5K, 100 Days ‘Til THON Celebration, Family Carnival, THON Athletic Events, THON Showcase, No Hair Don’t Care, and more. The Special Events Committee is committed to ensuring that the magic and excitement of THON is felt year-round by creating events to spark lifelong memories for Four Diamonds families, organizations, volunteers, and the entire THON community.

  • What is your favorite THON memory? There are many THON memories that come to mind; however I think my favorite THON memory is walking dancers into the BJC through human tunnel at the beginning of THON Weekend. Getting to see the excitement and devotion of the dancers, families, and volunteers was surreal. I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and love from each person I passed. This moment reminds me of the unity and admiration I have for the THON community and Four Diamonds Families.

  • What is your favorite quote?  “Don’t worry be happy”

  • What are you involved in outside of being a THON™ Director? Outside of THON and academics I enjoy spending time with friends and family, running, and reading!

  • What are your plans after graduation from Penn State? After graduation I hope to pursue a degree in law and continue to have a positive impact on those around me.
