  • Why did you want to become a director for the largest student-run philanthropy in the world? I was first inclined to join THON since philanthropy has always played a role in my life, and I wanted to find a way to give back to others in my community. Over the last two years, I had gained immense experience in leadership and witnessed amazing leadership from the directors that have led me. They sparked passion in myself and others and moved this organization forward, and I have developed a deep connection to our mission. I wanted to be a director to utilize the skills I have gained, bring new ideas and perspective to the organization, lead others through the examples I have been given, and give back to an organization that has given me so much.
  • What are your main responsibilities as a Director for THON™ 2026?  I oversee 24 captains all with different roles relating to the donations that we receive and assisting donors with any questions they have on fundraising. The Finance Committee supports the THON community in its fundraising efforts by securely processing all monetary donations to uphold the integrity of THON. In addition to tracking all organization totals, Finance also finalizes the THON Weekend total, the monetary representation of the THON Community’s year-long fundraising efforts.
  • What is your favorite THON memory?  Being able to rush down to the floor after the total reveal my first year as a captain was such an exhilarating experience. Truly seeing all the work we did throughout the year culminate into the total and celebrating with my committee was an amazing moment. I didn’t even realize the true number until we finally got down to floor, and upon seeing $16.9 million dollars I was left speechless. It was just one example of how powerful this community is when it comes together for this cause.
  • What is your favorite quote?    “Let us make our future now, and let us make our dreams tomorrow’s reality”. – Malala Yousafzai
  • What are you involved in outside of being a THON™ Director?  Outside of THON, I am a Schreyer Honors Scholar, brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and member of Association for Women In Computing
  • What are your plans after graduation from Penn State?  I plan on working at PwC as a Data and Tech Consultant in New York City!
