Why did you want to become a director for the largest student-run philanthropy in the world? THON has been one of the most rewarding and transformative parts of my entire college journey at Penn State and going into my senior year, I knew I wanted to get as involved as possible and give back in every way I could, not only to the mission but also to other students who are just beginning their own THON or Penn State journeys. Becoming a director felt like the best way to maximize that impact while getting to do a job that I am extremely passionate about.
What are your main responsibilities as a Director for THON™ 2026? As Technology Director, I lead a team of 27 in developing, maintaining, and improving THON’s five key platforms — THINK, DASH, POST, Warewolf, and THON.org — which support both internal operations and outward-facing engagement. I also oversee the planning and growth of our digital infrastructure to ensure it remains secure, reliable, and scalable for the future.
What is your favorite THON memory? It’s hard to pick one, but one of my favorite memories is doing a scavenger hunt with a few kids during the last TW. It was genuinely some of the most fun I had, and I think it’s so important to remember why we THON, especially

What are you involved in outside of being a THON™ Director? I’m currently involved with the Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship (HESE) Program, and this past year I was the Technology and Production Director for Penn State Infusion along with THON Family Relations chair for Alpha Kappa Psi!
What are your plans after graduation from Penn State? Working as a Technology Consultant full-time
To ensure that THON is able to donate 96 cents of every dollar raised to Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we heavily rely on donor support. These donations provide us the resources to create endless memories for our Four Diamonds families & foster a deep love & connection to our mission for our volunteers through Pre-THON Events, alternative fundraisers, & THON Weekend.
