To protect the health of our Four Diamonds families and prevent the spread of all respiratory viruses, we urge individuals not to attend THON Weekend if they have any symptoms of infection. These symptoms could include fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, extreme fatigue, runny nose, and/or new rash. Individuals with visible symptoms upon arrival will not be able to attend.

We highly encourage every attendee to be up-to-date on all vaccines including vaccines against COVID-19 and influenza. These immunizations are another way for us to protect the health and well-being of the children, teens, and families who remain at the center of THON’s mission. Individuals are encouraged to wear masks as an additional precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses.

These decisions were made in consultation with Penn State Health Children’s Hospital leadership and physicians to ensure that the health of children and families is protected above all. These precautions are subject to change based on the status of COVID-19 or other infections in the community as we approach the event.

Thank you for your support of THON 2024, and we cannot wait to dance in the Bryce Jordan Center in February! Please contact director@thon.org with any questions.
