Donor and Alumni Relations Alumni Engagement (DAR AE)

Penn State has one of the largest alumni networks in the world. If you’re one of the many students who viewed that network as a driving factor to come to Penn State, the Alumni Engagement Committee might be the place for you! Alumni Engagement serves as the bridge between THON and Penn State’s alumni network. In collaboration with the Alumni Association and various other alumni groups, the group works to spread THON’s mission and fundraise across the globe!

Gregory McNicholas has been involved in THON since 2019, but he worked with Communications until this year. For THON 2022, Gregory will work as the Alumni Communications Coordinator Captain. He looks forward to using the skills he learned on Communications to facilitate crucial relationships with Alumni.

“As a Spring captain, we were able to have one meeting in-person (masked and socially distanced of course). It was the first time we had all met each other face-to-face and we just instantly clicked right away. You could feel the energy in the room–eight of us from all different backgrounds coming together for one common goal–it was incredible!”

If working with the Alumni Engagement Committee interests you, consider applying today to collaborate with Gregory and the rest of the team!
