THON 2012: Brighten Every Journey

A journey can be lonely when taken alone, but it can be most memorable when shared with others. Three children, holding hands, silhouetted by the setting sun, are a symbol of not only friendship, but trust, curiosity, wonder, simplicity, and reflection. All people can remember running around as a child in the yard at dusk, finding and exploring the wonders that the world provides to us. Amongst each other, children can laugh, ask questions, and discover the world together. The sun shines on them and protects them. This message of unity and fellowship is what THON is all about. Friends, family, and loved ones join together to bring each other strength, to run around and play, to learn new things, and to find inner strength and unearth the true essence of faith. Together kids can light their own path, and through their journey they show the rest of us the best way to do that too. We can learn from the ways they make the best of every situation, and find the strength to laugh and smile and play. Together, we can Brighten Every Journey.
