"As most students can attest to, THON has become one of the most important weekends of their lives at Penn State. Every student, child, and parent, feels the energy and most of all love that resides within the BJC for those 46 hours. These hours hinge on the love and support provided for children and families affected by pediatric cancer. This logo portrays that sense of love. A child proudly holds his diamond in the sky, a hand symbol that has become a tradition at THON to represent the Four Diamonds Fund. As the child looks up to the diamond, his arms form a heart in the negative spacing, symbolizing love that everyone brings to THON. The logo is one that every person who has been to THON can relate to. As we all hold our diamonds in the air, we come together for one cause under one roof with one dream, to win the fight against cancer."
