Fun fact about Tommy: I hugged Taylor Swift at a concert, and she wrote 'Enchanted' shortly afterwards.  Coincidence? I think not. 

Favorite THON memory: Just like the rest of the OC, I think every memory is special and it is tough to just focus on one. My first and probably most eye opening memory, however, took place during THON 2010. This was my first year being involved in THON, and I was on Morale. I was hanging out with my dancer, and on of their THON children came over to us and was intent on recruiting me for his watergun fight. After about an hour of running around the BJC with him on my back, soaked from both friendly fire and other kids' guns, we went back to my dancer and her friends for one of the kids' talent shows. During the show and with a kid on my back, I got caught in the moment, became overwhelmed, and started sobbing. Seeing the kids on stage go wild and forget about their problems all because of what we do was more than I could take. It was at this moment that I truly realized how much we mean to the kids, and also how much they mean to us. They become our family, and the support, love, and happiness we continually provide for them is the most important part of every THON event we have. THON is so special because of these relationships we form with the kids and their families, and these relationships are the reason  everyone involved commits so much time and effort FTK.
