This week marks the start of the Four Diamonds Recycling Effort, 4DRE. Orgs, committees, sorority and fraternity pairs and commonwealth campuses are encouraged to participate in this recycling effort, not only to help the planet but also the kids. The group that collects the most aluminum cans and plastic bottles can be rewarded with an incentive shift during THON Weekend.
If your organization or group wants to get involved, have your THON chair register on THINK.psu.edu. There, you will have to fill out the forms and will be able to find all rules and guidelines for 4DRE.
Once registered, you can stop by the THON office, 210 HUB, to get your bags so you can start recycling. When you fill a bag of either uncrushed alumni cans or uncrushed plastic bottles, you can take them to one of the drop off locations at either South Halls, East Halls, West Halls, Nittany Apartments or the Hammond Building.
