Fun fact about Mairead: I won 'Camper of the Week' at Space Camp when I attended the summer after fifth grade.  I had a broken foot, so I was unable to participate in several of the activities.  I would be more than happy to share my US Space Camp VHS!

Favorite THON memory: I don't want to cop out and say I can't think of any one favorite memory, but it's the truth! One of my favorite memories was visiting Hershey Medical Center on a Special Visitors' trip around Halloween 2010.  I spent the day with children who were undergoing treatment making black cat crafts and beaded necklaces.  It was the first time I truly appreciated that these children are just that: children.  They may have a port or be waiting for a spinal tap, but they just want to play fusball and give you a temporary tattoo.  It was a remarkable day that really shed light on just what THON and the Four Diamonds Fund has been able to provide for these families.
