Fun fact about Jackie: Converse are my favorite shoes, and I think the more holes and dirt on them the better. 

Favorite THON memory: I think every year you gain a few more of those favorite moments, so I'll do my most recent favorite THON memory from 2011. I was outside watching the dancers while they got some fresh air when everyone was heading in. But just before I went back in Kirsten Kelly came outside with a dancer that was struggling worse than I had seen yet. I saw the defeat on this girl's face and how much she wanted to continue but didn't believe she could, so we started talking. I got her distracted and stretched her out. 15-20 minutes later she walked back into the BJC looking triumphant and ready to tackle the rest of the weekend. My favorite memory was watching her face light up when she knew I believed in her and seeing her change from defeat to triumph. It showed me once again that is what we are doing here, we are conquering the human spirit and uplifting those that need to continue on their journey.
