THONline Follow-Up - Example

Instead of worrying about homework, sporting events, or the first day of school, children with cancer face far greater challenges: chemotherapy, surgery, and the dream of growing up. In the United States, childhood cancers are the #1 disease killer of children: more than asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and pediatric AIDS combined. 

With THON Weekend 2010 only a couple weeks away, it is now your time to make a difference in conquering childhood cancer.  At Penn State University, thousands of students have come together to make a difference in the lives of these children.  

THON 2010 will take place from February 19th - 21st, in Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center. We expect over thirty thousand visitors to pass through the facility in support of the 700 dancers, thousands of volunteers, and most importantly the kids.
