The THON Four Diamonds Recycling Effort (4DRE) helps raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund while working with Penn State OPP at bettering the planet one aluminum can and plastic bottle at a time.
THON Organizations and Committee’s are encouraged to become involved with 4DRE by colleting uncrushed aluminum cans and bottles from the month of December ‘til THON Weekend. Bags should be dropped off at designated drop-off locations around campus. But please, do not drop off any aluminum cans or bottles until December.
The organizations that collect the most bags of recycling will have the opportunity to receive THON Weekend incentives including a line dance on stage and participation in a Slides of Strength! For directions on how to participate in THON's 4DRE, please see this document.
To become a part of THON 4DRE and help THON go green, you should register on THINK by Friday, November 30th. 4DRE collection will begin on December 3rd, 2012 and end on February 2nd, 2013.
